The Life of Christ The Basis of Faith
No historical figure to have ever walked the earth has been the subject of so much discussion, literature, art, and conflict. Ironically, He never wrote a book, led an army, or was elected to public office. He wasn't a famous athlete or musician and never appeared on television or film. Yet, even from the beginning, humanity has wrestled with the question of His identity. To this day, the mention of His name confronts people with the choice of how they will respond to Him. For thousands of years before His birth, prophets spoke of His arrival and people anticipated His impact. In the two thousand years since, He has drawn people with His love and transformed them through His Word. Within these pages, students will encounter the central figure in history, Jesus Christ, and journey through the basic issues of faith in Him. They will be exposed to the prophetic messages concerning His coming, His birth and three-year ministry of miracles and teaching, and His death and resurrection. In each session they will be challenged by His message of hope and invitation to abundant life.
